Introducing Reflective Waters Counseling, a mental health practice.

Accessible and compassionate care, from the comfort of your home.

My Approach

In our sessions, you’ll find a calm, supportive space where you can be yourself and take things at your own pace. I’m laid-back by nature, and my approach is person-centered — you lead the way, and I gently guide as needed.

You can expect to feel heard, understood, and supported emotionally. Therapy with me is a space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, to process experiences, and to build skills that help you feel more grounded and clearer.

I use a range of evidence-based techniques, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Person-Centered Methods

  • Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR)

How we use these techniques depends entirely on what works best for you. Whether you’re an individual, teen, couple, or someone in recovery, I tailor every session to meet you where you are.

You don’t need a plan or the “right” words to begin — we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, exploring and growing together, one step at a time.

My Services

  • Two people sitting and holding hands, one wearing a denim jacket and the other in black clothing, against a dark background.

    Individual Therapy

  • A young boy with short light brown hair, white t-shirt, and blue jeans, sitting on a black wooden chair in an empty, bare room with concrete walls and a dirt floor. He appears to be sad or lost in thought, with his head slightly bowed and one foot resting on the floor.

    Adolescent Therapy

  • Person holding an orange pill bottle and spilling white pills into their hand, near a window with sheer curtains.

    Addictions Therapy

  • A grey surface with white tiles and paper pieces, some with handwritten words and drawings related to trauma, abuse, and mental health. There is a glass heart-shaped container holding dried flowers in the center.

A safe space to start at your own pace

Hi, I’m Ashley.

With 15 years in the mental health field, I help adolescents and adults navigate challenges like trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship struggles, and major life transitions. My journey began in forensics as a case manager, which taught me how much I value walking alongside people in their growth.

I take a laid-back, person-centered approach — you set the pace, and we figure it out together, one conversation at a time. I’ve worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, including veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and high-acuity or court-ordered clients.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to process experiences and build coping skills.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our pup, traveling, trying new foods, sipping coffee at local cafés, and exploring abandoned ghost towns.
